hello all...i've been searching for some sort of comfort in my situation.
i found a story written by "iamfreenow" aka marion.
i found some comfort to know that i am not alone in my challenging of my faith.

When I was in N.Y.C Inwood congo.
This one "sister" would come up to me every month with her field service report, and she would say " You see brother Casarona 32 hours 12 back calls 34 magazines and 2 bible studies Isn't that good?"..........I would say " thats great"........she was from Germany. there was a 3x 6 ft. oil painting of her father in her living room full SS nazis uniform..................Yes, she had made the jump from the Nazis country to a Nazis religion.

i was raised in "the truth", and for the longest time it was all i knew.
i spent my childhood going through all the things that other witness children went through; not celebrating holidays, not standing up and reciting the pledge of allegiance, not going to school events, or associating with "worldly" children much.

She would put some of the birds in her purse and give them a bath in the lady's room............She was a nice lady and didn't stink!......as opposed to the next group.
This women was in her sixties had two boys in their 20's...........Looked like a bag lady, No teeth, ugly.....but worst......NEVER took a bath..........When they came to the meetings they parted the Red Sea........NO one would sit with in 3 rows of them!.............Her boys were both 3 clams shy of a clam bake........It is thought she had sex with her bother..........But get THIS, this is the best part!
The elders told her and her boys that they couldn't go out in field service, (lucky devils) until they clean themselfs up!...............She said "screw you" and went ANYWAY. They gave her no magazines or territries.......Didn't stop her, she went to the laundromats and got it there. We would be out in service, and a house holder would say "Some old women and 2 guys were here yesterday" AH yes.
I'm sure she gave a FINE witness......and other people's responds to it, well......would mean their eternal LIFE!

But the worst would be spring of 1973........some friends drove me 3 hours from brooklyn bethel to the Natick assembly hall. They droped me off and left.......I meet my soon to be wife in the entry and told her I had to use the bathroom REALLY bad.....................sprinted to the mens room.
Drop my draws and looked down...............Oh My God...some kid had peed all over the floor about 1/2 deep. My suit pants were soaked!.........It took about 45 mins to try and dry them off using the hot air hand dryer............I came out of the bathroom with the strangest look......She asked "what is wrong?" I said "I tell you later"....................In the middle of the talk, she said " WHAT IS THAT STRANGE SMELL"?
